  1. Can you tell us something about your professional life?

Ans: Well, by profession I am a migration consultant. I have been working as a migration consultant for well over two decades. I have been assisting swarm of applicants with the lodgements of their visas including the permanent visas, temporary visas, work visas, student visas, and list goes on.

  1.  Suffice to say, the pandemic caused consternation among international students who have jetted off to Australia for their promising future. Now, how does the 2021-22 migration program play out? Are there any policy settings going to be changed during this time window? What is your take on that?

Ans: To the best of my knowledge, Australia is the nation whose economy is solely driven by the influx of immigrants. There would not be a mistaken notion to say that immigrants are the spine of economy. Now it is very clear that Australia needs the recovery from the impacts of Covid-19 like many other leading economies in the world. The program settings or priorities that are in place will remain intact in the 2021-22 program year.

Having said that, the minister for immigration, citizenship and multicultural affairs will be mindful about the priorities when it comes to redistributing places between skill visa categories in response to economic, public health and labour market requirements.

It is unequivocally true that most of the international students have gone through their tumultuous journey while striving for their better future. Therefore, it is undeniably a very tough time for them. However, it is possible to reach the goal if they are to take professional advice from registered migration agents.

  1. The migration program skill stream in 2021-22 has tickled everyone’s fancy. Can you shed some light on this?

Ans: In the wake of Covid-19, the migration program has changed drastically, meaning the entrepreneurs, high-calibre professionals and the global talent are on high demand to recover Australia’s economy from the colossal impact of covid-19. Essentially, the new migration program will focus on the type of visa categories that will bolster Australia’s economy.

There are three categories within the skill stream of the 2021-22 migration program:

Business innovation and investment

Employer Sponsored program

Global Talent program

These categories are prioritised to boost the economy of Australia in the years to come.

  1. How does the 2021-22 migration program impact those visa applicants who are already in Australia?

Ans: It doesn’t impact those visa applicants. Under the 2021-22 migration program, the priority processing of onshore applications for skill and family stream visas will remain in place.

The 2021-22 migration program will help Australia’s burgeoning economic market to be prospered. And more importantly, this will also facilitate the emotional necessity for family reunion.

  1. What are the crucial sectors for the global Talent program? How does this program facilitate those prospective applicants?

Ans: Well, there are many crucial industries i.e an agri-food, health industries, circular economy, education, digitech, infrastructure, tourism, advance manufacturing, and space.  The sole purpose of this program is to attract high-calibre professionals to live and work in Australia. This program facilitates those professionals by giving them an ample opportunity that they deserve.

  1. What kind of services that you provide to the clients?

We have clients from various careers and educational backgrounds. We always assist our clients to take pragmatic approach whilst applying for their visas. Since we are also education agents, we also advise our clients to choose right course and pathways to settle in Australia permanently.
